It feels oh so good to blog again! I’ve been a busy bee creating wedding flowers for some of the sweetest brides in Illinois the past few months and even though I am still in the craziness of wedding season, I wanted to take a moment to share pictures from a wedding we did in early June. We created the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages and the bride created feather centerpieces to compliment her dress. One of our favorite aspects of this wedding was collaborating with the bride to come up with a different purple bouquet for each bridesmaid. The bridal bouquet had an element from each of her maids bouquets plus some gorgeous purple hydrangea! The flowers used were purple hydrangea, lavender and dark purple sweet peas, light and dark purple calla lilies, purple roses, and light and dark purple stock. We think the results were chic, fun and perfectly purple! Congratulations to Sarah and Joe and a big thank-you to Photography by Fender & Donisch for the pretty images!
